- 1. “Rise and shine”
Time to get up! Somewhat inspired by the intro from Bravo 6’s debut album Autolove.
Additional personnel: violins – Thomas von Wachenfeldt
- 2. “Dress up”
Most of us don’t wake up in make up. It is carefully applied, a brick by brick construction of the facade.
- 3. “He says She says”
Two people in a bed watching/streaming late night tv-shows quite a bit into their relationship. Can you hear the “cut to commercial”-music when they sneak out in the kitchen for more snacks, continuing the anti-communication?
Additional personnel: drums – Daniel Trobell, backing vocals – Josefine Wassler, trumpets – Jonne Bentlöv, saxophones – Andreas Andersson
- 4. “Random sounds”
Inspired by the eerie feel of the main theme of Swedish/Danish TV-series “Bron” – “Hollow talk” by Choir of young believers. Lyrics about the one who can never shut up and always need to make a humorous twist, regardless of subject – thus missing out of some of the most important bits of life.
Additional personnel: backing vocals – Josefine Wassler
- 5. “You can’t break me”
You may do all you can to me, but the light in me will never fade.
Additional personnel: violins – Thomas von Wachenfeldt
- 6. “Call your friends”
So hungover it is impossible to tell for sure if you are a vampire or if you’re not. Inspired by “The Twelve”, the second book of the “The Passage”-trilogy by Justin Cronin.
- 7. “Place to be”
It took until the end of the world for Jack to realise what’s most important, but we already know he’s a slow learner. Written on the same day that my family received bad news.
Additional personnel: violins – Thomas von Wachenfeldt
- 8. “LUCY (inhale/exhale)“
This the moment that calls for a smoke.
Additional personnel: backing vocals – Josefine Wassler
- 9. “No you No me”
Jack’s darkest moment so far. The selfishness, the prevarication, the lack of empathy and insight.
Additional personnel: backing vocals – Josefine Wassler
- 10. “Haunted”
Disorientation.
Additional personnel: backing vocals – Josefine Wassler
- 11. “8848 (album version)“
Setting out on the quest knowing there is no way back but unwilling to admit it.
Additional personnel: backing vocals – Josefine Wassler
- 12. “Are You Being Home”
Two people, one harsh truth, no future.
